Meeting with a Moai

We really loved watching those huge statues!!! Moais are a mystery. Scarlett really enjoyed meeting all the moais in the island. This island is covered with mistery.

Many pictures of the Moais were taken. In my photo I'm with one of them. Scarlett, Omayra, Lissette and Viviana like those who are several together. It's curious that there are not much trees in the island... but there are lot of moais!!!

I love my tattoo

My friends didn't like the idea. However, I needed to keep a beautiful memory of Easter Island. My friend Omayra, who also went to the trip, had a tattoo made in her arm. She didn't want to show her tattoo due to she's very shy. I liked the idea, so I encouraged myself to have one done, too.

Going out clubbing!!!

Native people are very friendly. Beers are tasted every night by these cheerfully young and handsome men dancing with feathers and showing their tanned muscles. Their favourite drinks are ron and wine. You can spend a marvellous night with these handsome native boys. There are three nice places to go clubbing: 'Shani's', 'Ukelele' and 'Iorana' pubs. Lissette's favourite place was Iorana's because there weren't too many foreigners and there were more native youngters. She fell deeply in love with one of them.

There we met Petero and Iriti who taught us how to dance and move my hips!! I did'nt want to be in the photo because my boyfriend could get mad at me later.

Scuba Diving in the pacific Ocean!!!!

It was so amazing!!! Can you imagine us scuba diving in the sea??? No? It's not cheap to do it, but these were our holidays! who cares about the money when you're visiting the buttom of the sea! Viviana and Scarlett wanted to go there and loved to watch the fish swimming around them.

Next step... exploring the island

It's very easy to explore the island in about 6 days. It's not a large place to live, so... we did it in that short period.

I think July was the best month for going there. Especially because it's winter in Santiago. In Easter island... winter never arrives!! it's always spring time.

Our favourite places to visit were the volcanoes. There are three volcanoes: The ranoraraku, Rano Kau and Poike. Some of us liked the Ranoraraku and the others liked the Rano Kau a lot.
Virgen Mary is never forgotten even far away from the continent. Viviana and Omayra felt better after praying for about 2 hours!!! I think they were asking Mary for a new boyfriend.

Our start in the island

This was our experience of our last trip to Easter Island. We never thought one day we'd be there in that amazing island!!!

We were very excited because we knew that many people from different countries had been there and now we were part of one of those people.
